Kelly Vega was born in New Jersey but raised in Puerto Rico, where she grew up surrounded by culture, family, and a strong sense of community. She speaks both Spanish and English fluently. From a young age, Kelly knew she wanted a career that would allow her to help others. That calling led her to pursue a law degree with the goal of making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Puerto Rico, followed by a Master’s degree in Human Resources from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. She then completed her Juris Doctor at the Interamerican University School of Law and was admitted to the Puerto Rico Bar by the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico in 2014.
Shortly after, Kelly relocated to Florida, where she began her career as an immigration attorney. Since then, she has dedicated herself to representing immigrants across the United States, with a special focus on humanitarian cases including T Visas, VAWA, asylum, family petitions, and removal defense. She currently serves as the Managing Attorney of the Orlando office at Vasquez Law Firm, PLLC, where she leads the firm’s growth in Florida and oversees local operations.
In her free time, Kelly enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, and spending quality time with her family and close friends. She loves the outdoors, good food, and prioritizes both physical and emotional well-being. Her energy, empathy, and dedication help clients feel heard, supported, and in good hands.
